These are designed to be slim and fast-moving weight plates to allow high speed, explosive movements during those intense weightlifting sessions.
Low maintenance design with no need for tightening of bolts or special compounds to keep them from falling apart. This applies to all of our competition plates above 5KG. Given the 5KG plates should always loaded outside of heavier plates they should not be absorbing much of the dropping forces. Hence, we recommend you tighten them monthly.
